Gimme some Spyware

I realize this is a strange request, but can i get as many known spyware/malware urls etc. the plan is to infect the hell out of a computer and test which removal tool works the best. :) plan is to do Spybot, Adaware and MSAS. so if you know where to contract some quality crap, post it for me.

First off, set your internet security level to low, clear all the sites in the restricted zone, surf wrestling sites, porn sites, kazaa is particularly good (download loads of stuff) all without a firewall or antivirus, and that should do the trick. I hope you're doing this on a test machine, as I wouldn't recommend it on your main comp, you will get loads of stuff that those programs won't catch.
Edit: Jan, why is this illegal? I do this all the time to test different programs.
 
Well..

Although it is good to test (like you mention), it is not particularly LEGAL to send adware and spyware around to people. That's my objection. Obviously going to PrON websites is a good way of getting the stuff especially when using IE.

Sounds like you're talking from personal experience, Jan!!! (btw, I know what you mean)
 
heres some stuff you can do, download kazaa, and then click on the ads on the bottom of the scree, and let it install the active x stuff, and click on the ads on some websites, its bound to give u some. And install AIM with the toolbars and crap.

I tried to get a ton of spyware/adware before to, althought it was to mess up the computer so parents would buy a new one, lol

He he, i tried that before but i booted into DOS and deleted all the system files, worked a treat....
 
Thanks guys, I'll do some tests over the next few days (after the weekend) and i'll post what i've found. and yes i'm using a test comp, I may be dumb, but not that dumb.
 
I'll throw my 2 cents in...

spyware is legal, thats why companies that make it don't get shut down by the authorities. Terms & conditions somewhere usually spell it out in fine print (you actually agree to it, but other things you DONT agree to in some way, shape, or form, are illegal, ie. viruses/trojans/worms). The FBI will go after virus writers, but not spyware writers for those reasons.

If you truely want to get some of the biggest pain in the **** spyware on a machine, download spywareblaster on a clean machine and note some of the more recent URLs in there database of 3500+ urls. then visist those sites with your test machine and install their... toolbars, programs, etc.. and reboot, (plus, surfing the sites Buzz told you will get it pretty good as well). Have fun!, I run a test machine my self and do the same thing.
 
try and vist crack and warez sites, theyre a
*** load of viruses and spywares on them.
