Girlfriend's Internet Dies Every Ten Mins

I have been talking to my girlfriend on AIM and her internet will disconnect her about every 10 mins. I have little info right now as I am not in front of the hardware. She has a MacBook Air, DSL, and wireless router, I am assuming the router is part of the DSL package. I asked her to reset it, we are currently seeing if that works.

Any ideas?

Did it recently just start? Has she done anything recently to change settings on the router/computer?
 
Yes it recently started. I dont think that she changed anything. I highly doubt it.

She did reset the router and it seems to be working now.

thanks, we will see how long this "fix" works

Yea if she didn't change anything then I wouldn't worry. Routers do goof up sometimes just need a restart to fix that. If all else fails its usually the isp having problems. Had an old dell router that would disconnect once a month for the whole day was so weird, finally said heck with it and got a new router..
