Gmail spam

ok off the record this one, but i just thought this out.
I was gonna check my gmail when i saw the following


Looking at this picture popped something in my head.
Why do i get around 20+ spam/junk in gmail,on a daily basis ?
I mean i've not used gmail for any registrations on any sites (dunno bout CF).
All my registrations were done using yahoo and hotmail and yet, the aforementioned gets 0 spam.Probably in a week i get around 2.
I dont have a question really but i think gmail themselves are the ones to spam their users, no seriously thats what i think ,so they can get more attention.
Ever since i've signed up for gmail been getting more spam than my other account and yet gmail is the least used...geez

I dunno about that. I have several gmail accounts that I hardly touch that get no spam, and the one I do use on a regular basis is loaded with spam galore.

you are registered to CF with your gmail account, although I can guarantee that Ian never lets the emails go anywhere!

probably only this one, i also closed my facebook recently which was registered with hotmail, Maxconsole i used hotmail, oh i used Gmail for wincustomizea and softonic.com, probably thats were the spam comes from, i visit there regularly..lol
