Dam well i had to order linux unbutu from the internet since i dont have a cd burner to burn it onto 2 install, And i downloded lots of stardock products but some wont install says i dont have permisiion 2 ascess a file O? "shakes head"

did you consider installing without a cd?

I all rdy downloaded a version that i have 2 burn onto a cd, but i went onto http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=198821 and its sopposed 2 do the install for me , But will i have 2 download unbutu again and how big is that download above? also will the unbuto download be big to download it without cd? Thx

I don't know about Ubuntu, but I know with Debian you can just download the netinst CD image; that way you only have to download a small amount (less than 200mb) and you can build up your system with packages after you've installed the OS. Otherwise, consider Xubuntu, which is a lightweight version of Ubuntu.
