All mobo come with a floppy connector, you do not "need" to use a floppy if you have a cd drive and set the boot sequence to boot from optical first.
The Abit board is great but the DFI is overkill unless you plan on overclocking.
I'm confused as to the system you want to build and the comp in your sig. Is the sig system exsisting or to be built or?

well if u want it for gaming and u want to sli go for the fatal1ty an8-sli from abit
it is the best gaming borad in the world
and it comes with alot of cool stuff that other borad dont have and are useful to gamers

is it compatible with duel core processors? on do they support 939 pin?
price?

i do plan on gaming, that is why im buying a 500$ video card...
but i also plan on regular internet use, word ect. for school.

NEED SLI? or does it just support sli?

The DFI nf4Ultra Infinity [$95] is cheaper.

You can get that board. It would be a waste of money IMO but what you have is compatible with a BIOS flash

With a $100 price spread, it's hard not to pick the RX200 board (which kicks so much ass btw) but it shouldnt be in the same class as the lower end boards. So I'll ask ... what's your budget for a motherboard?

why you want to upgrade from a A8N NF4U mobo?
looks like a waste of monney to me..
Other than the fact that you can (possibly) get a better board ... however if we throw in the price restriction (which i did for my initial suggestion), it's not gonna be a world of difference :)
