Going All Out $3k budget gaming rig

Title says it all im going all out on building my new gaming rig it will be not only for gaming but also for 3D video rendering and Photoshop for work so here is what i have so far let me know what you think :)

CPU - Intel Core i7-3770K Ivy Bridge - $330
MotherBoard -ASUS Maximus V FORMULA - $290
RAM - CORSAIR Dominator Platinum 16GB 2133mhz - $240
GPU x2 - SLI Asus GTX670 - $860
PSU - XFX PRO850W XXX Edition -$145
Storage - Kingston HyperX 3K 240GB x2 Raid 0 $-375 and - 1TB Western Digital WD Black Raid 10 - $420
Cooling - CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i - $115 (Additional cooling will be Noctua 1200mm fans x2 for radiator and 1 Noctua 140mm for case exhaust fan)
Case - COOLER MASTER Storm Stryker - $150
 
You can save money in the following areas:

2 SSDs for RAID-0? Just get one 256GB or 512GB SSD, it'll be more than fast enough for you and provide enough space.

Just get one 680 or maybe consider one 690 over two 670s. Better to use one card to save on power consumption and heat. It also allows for easier upgrading in the future.

reason for the 2 670s is cheaper than the 690 and 670s only do about 3-7 fps less then the 680s and for 100 bucks less thought it was a no brainer as for the SSD the 480GB is $490 again was getting the same performace for about 100 bucks cheaper as for the board im going to try and use sleeved wires so i want it to all look good but that MB is amazing cant believe i didnt find that myself lol what do you think about the z77 Sabertooth though? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131821 again going with a side window case and going to really try to make it look nice in there even going to throw in a http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812170031 to try and make it look really nice so also going to try some http://www.amazon.com/24P-W-Singled...id=1357559159&sr=1-12&keywords=nzxt+extension

The Sabertooth is a good board, but if you want good looks personally I wouldn't use it. It's got a black over over the whole board which you may or may not like. I'm not sure if you can take the cover off or not, but if you can you'll be left with brown RAM slots and a brown chipset cooler which wouldn't look great. I think either the UP5 or the Maximus V are better boards if you want looks. Though I guess the black cover would make it look good and after all you'd fill up the brown RAM slots with your RAM and the brown PCI Express slots with your graphics cards.

It's up to you really. They're all good boards.
 
the sabertooth board may not seem that it would look good, but after doing a friends build using the board, and a corsair c70 case, with a seasonic modular psu and gtx 670 with 2 x corsair platinum dims, it looks great. better than my asus maximus v bene micro atx build, mainly because its got more space for the layout and the case is bigger. but non the less, it looks real sharp. you wouldnt be dissappointed. although i am able to get a bit better overclock at lower temps and voltages. dont know if its the chip (both are using the i7 3770k), or the boards that are making mine a bit better, but if i would have gotton the atx version of my board, it would look a bit nicer i think, its all prefrence, but going with the black sabertooth board, i know you wont be dissappointed.,

should i go with the 850 or 1050? and i agree with everything being black and white do you think some red extensions would make it pop? then run a Sleeved led in there as well?
 
Not only that guys i just found the CM Storm Trooper and can replace the left side with a window straight from CM themselves :) http://www.cmstore-usa.com/cm-storm-trooper-left-side-windowed-panel/ so for pure aesthetic reasons so i go with white case with sabertooth MB and CORSAIR HX Series with red sleeved extensions and nzxt led sleeved in red or Black case with -Maximus V FORMULA with Corsair HX series with white extensions and nzxt led sleeved in red or white? im so excited i and im not even for sure which route im going right now which one do you all think would look the sexiest?
