I'm planning to build my custom PC. Please give any comment and suggestion for this because I'm really new and kinda noob of all of this things.

Processor: Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor BX80623I72600K ($314.99)

Motherboard: ASUS MAXIMUS IV EXTREME (REV 3.0) LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Extended ATX Intel Motherboard ($359.99)
Note: I don't really know which one should I choose between P67 or Z68.. Need your comment..!

Graphic Card: EVGA 03G-P3-1584-AR GeForce GTX 580 (Fermi) 3072MB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card ($574.99)

Memory: CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9 ($174.99)

Cooler: CORSAIR Hydro H70 CWCH70 120mm High Performance CPU Cooler ($119.99)

Harddrive: Probably will go for "Seagate Barracuda ST31000524AS 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive" ($59.99)
Note: I choose this because I have no idea about SSD and how it works too.. Please give me some comment about this..

Power Supply: I still don't know which power supply to use for my kit I've been thinking of "Corsair HX650W" ($119.99)
Note: Please give me comment for this..

BLU-ray/DVD/CD drive: SAMSUNG Black 12X BD-ROM 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-ROM SATA Internal Blu-ray Drive Model SH-B123L LightScribe Support - OEM
($64.99)

Monitor: I'm thinking to get a 27"Inch monitor but I've no idea which one to buy.. Need comment for this too..

I think overall for total is $1800+ without monitor and case..

Please give any comments for all of this.. Thank you..

Z68 make SSD faster.
GTX 580 - not worth the extra money over GTX 570 IMO. GTX 560 SLI or 6950 CF would be faster.

Thank's for the comment.. But I don't really understand about the 2nd comment about the graphic card, can u explain it in detail? Thanks..

good choice. quality build that'll give you easily a few years without upgrading. Also, with the SSD, i believe the fastest SATA-III drives are the OCZ Vertex 3 series. Lots of money, but killer speeds. Like, 550mb/s read, 500mb/s write. My mechanical drive will get about 70mb/s each way.

Overkill.
A 6950 Alone is capable enough to handle anything and even the GTX 570 the why CF/SLI.
And when going for a new computer and single powerful cards are available then why SLI/CF?

So, which one is better? gtx 580 or 6950 cf? what is CF btw?

CF is CrossFire.
AMD/ATI Multi GPU configs are called crossfire.Since the GTX 580 can handle anything maxxed out thrown at it at FULL HD Resolution and so will the HD 6950CF it won't make much of a difference now.
But when the games become more demanding the HD 6950 will outperform the GTX 580 by far.
But Multi GPU configs should be avoided.
It is better you get a 2GB HD 6950 or a GTX 570 and if your really want to go for overkill then GTX 580.

It means that I better go for 1 single GTX 580 rather than 2x 2gb HD 6950? Is there any side effect or disadvantages of having 2x 2gb HD 6950?

another question, how much watt of power supply do I need for single GTX 580 and how much for 2x 2GB HD 6950? THanks..

nvidia website says that recommended system power for the 580 is 600 watts. The card draws 244 alone, so 600 watts is as a safety message.

now, the 6950 2gb crossfired, draws 438 in it's tweaktown review (first google result, lol) so that would mean about 850 watts as a safe zone.

A single 580 is probably better for you, because Crossfire benefits aren't always equal to doubling the output of the single card.

A 580 will easily run today's games at full resolution, and you can ALSO crossfire it if it becomes not enough. That would, of course, mean a bigger power supply but let's not think about that.
