Going to Intel =]

Well im getting pretty tired of being limited with my 5000+. So I am going to make the switch to intel =] I am going to keep everything I have, except my 790GX and my 5000+.

So I have a question.

I am planning to start out small, then later on move up. I am going to start with The Pentium Dual-Core E5200.

The question is, do I need a motherboard that supports Pentium processors, or a motherboard that supports Pentium D processors?

Any help is appreciated :D

That'd be perfect. I have the P35-DS3L which I guess is very similar apart from the older chipset, but it works great! ;)

The only major changes are the PCI 2.0 support and the updated Southbridge. Same price as the P35 (which I looked at first :D), so may as well go with what's recent.

Yeah, I was just mentioning that GIGABYTE makes great boards :) I'm lucky SirKenin is not in here anymore, that little ASUS fan boy. He thought GIGABYTE was trash compared to ASUS
