Good $100 or less video

Does anyone know what video card in this price category is the best? Nvidia is preferable for me. I have heard about 6600, 6600LE, 7300GT, 7300GS before and I don't know what card would be better to buy.
 
$100 or LESS. that 7600gt would be, after shipping and taxes, around $155. not 10 extra... the gs on the other hand, would put him at about just his price range.

Look on the other side... he doesnt need to order it from newegg.. :) but go to the local store.. i dont think the prices would differ that much
but yea... the 7600GT might exceed the budget a bit,... if you can afford it tough, i can only recommend it
 
Assuming he lives in a state without sales tax, he's looking at a total of $115 including shipping. As Archangel said, he can avoid the shipping fee buy buying locally if he wishes. It's well worth the extra money.
 
wow you guys can get prices like that where you are at stores...then again there isnt a frickin computer store that has anything anywhere on Cape cod. the only place youll find computer stuff is at bestbuy and they are way overpriced. the same graphics card as teh one i have is like 150-200 bucks. its rediculous how expensive they are. 7900gs are like 100ish over newegg prices atleast. i wish i lived in a place where i was surrounded by competing computer shops...now thatd be cool

although there is a microcenter a little over an hour away. there website is wicked expensive but sometimes you can find good deals on stuff. thats where i got my case and saved a crapload on shipping...but i cant drive up to Cambridge (boston) every week to check the deals they have so. ohh well. wish there was good computer shops around me.

ya the 7600's are decent cards for the price. with one on i get 2700 on 3dmark06 total (both scores and cpu score), but i get over 5100 with two and my slight overclock...two are pretty damn good. keeps up with 7900's and i got both for less than half the price...got em when they had a really good sale on em. but im thinking about asking for a 7900gt or gtx for xmas tho. but i also want a new monitor. Maybe ill get a 7900 for xmas and buy a monitor. that way i can keep one of the 7600gs' in the extra slot and run my old lcd off of that...that would be cool. cant wait for xmas

sorry just fantasizing about new hardware lol...somehow budget computers end up wanting to be turned into high end ones (want new gpu's, new board, new ram, new hdd...i need to win teh lottery. oww well)

ya 7600gs or gt...both are good cards for the price
