Good Books, Websites?

Hey Everyone,

I am very interested in building my own PC after seeing some really cool home-builds at a friends house. I am not really computer savvy, so obviously before I attempt to build a PC from the ground up, I need to do a lot of research. Can anyone recommend a good book or website where I can master the basics, fully comprehend software and hardware, and become familiar with all these computer terms?

I don't think I explained myself properly. I am looking for general computer use information (EG: whats GHz & HDD, the purpose of a motherboard, etc.)

look for books like the "for dummies" or "idiots guide" range (no im not being offensive that is the actual title...

thats an example of the things they do and in general they are pretty good and concise...

I've seen some "Idiot's Guides" at a local book store. I'll check if they have computer guides.
