one company not listed there that arguably makes the best laptops is lenovo (used to be ibm thinkpads) but they are also the most expensive. As far as build quality and overall resistance to breaking if dropped or something is the best. I read once where a guy got into a wreck on the interstate and his thinkpad flew a couple hundred feet down the road, only thing that was broken was a usb plug that had a mouse pluged into it before the accident, it still booted fine and everything. Moving on, alienware will have the best gaming laptops (xps is close) as far as hardware, but my friend had a horrible time with one, I've typed out the whole story before, I'll see if I can find it and post a link to it.Psychosis said:Toshiba
