Good build? yay or nay.

Motherboard- Asus M5A99X EVO
CPU- Phenom IIX4 965
GPU- HD6850(already own one, may run in crossfire)
PSU- Corsair TX650 V2
Case- Xion AXP970-001BK Predator Gaming Mid-Tower Case, case comes with a 120mm or two fan.
RAM- Corsair vengeance 2x4gb DDR3 1600MHz
I'm going to be using my hard drive from my pc now due to cost, sata of course decent enough 1tb.

Going to run me around $650-700 or so including tax maybe shipping, no disk drives added yet.
Any suggestions?
 
looks pretty damn good. How much is the case? If it's cheap (like <80 bucks) I would say the only thing is to get a better one. That's one of the only regrets about my build, is that cable hiding-away-ability is severely limited.
Looks good though. The 6850 is an awesome price/performance card.
 
Yay. Good build for price. Nice psu, feel like everyone someone makes a build they pick a cheapo psu. Actually, nice case, nice looking, high rated and cable management, plus water cooling.
 
For the price im going for I think I got this, That i3 I can sort of agree with, but I'm going to take my chances with the amd, I have a i5 650 right now and it is great, but, I kinda wanna give amd a go for price and test... Plus I know it won't hurt.

Also the case was pretty much sold right away, great case is all.
Thank you for the imput, I just wanted to see if there was any negative commentary really to get a good scope.

Yeah I kind of agree with this too. The 6100 is newer and does run on the AM3+ socket, so it makes sense to get the newest. The X4 965 is getting old now, but it's still pretty good.

At the end of the day it's going to be your call though. Either will do you good. :)

Just go with the X4 965 actually, it's cheaper than the FX-6100 by about $25 and although it's old, it's still a good performer. Don't wait until Q3, that's like a three month wait.
 
Looks good, but for in the future, don't buy a second 6850. Those cards are very sensitive for micro-stuttering when you put them in xfire.
 
yeah the psu will have to upgrade as well that is why I said I might.
Also it will be around 3 months till I can order it in anyways, it is comming piece by piece haha
I told yah, liiiiimited budget.
 
You'll also need a os, the windows on the harddrive is linked to the mobo and of course won't work with the new build, and it costs 100 for windows, although win8 consumer preview is free and works decent (i'm using it for the free), but in gaming i have some artifacting issues, but it's on an igpu so i can't say it's a windows issue.
