Good cheap ddr3 ram?

So that ram should work just fine with my mobo? I have heard that asus is fairly picky about ram.

Thanks 2048MB I will keep an eye on that ram for cheaper price as I am still getting all my parts together for my build.

I am looking for good cheap ddr3 ram kit. Looking for 2 x 2gb sticks new. Any suggestions? Will I notice a difference between 1333 and 1600mhz. My mobo I ordered supports up to 1800mhz.

My mobo:

Really a pretty good price for 1600

Take a look at this OCZ DDR3 RAM. The column address strobe (CAS) latency is lower than the RAM you are looking at:

OCZ Gold 4 gigabytes (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - $86

The only thing is that OCZ is 1.9V where the G Skill is 1.5V. At 1.9V the G Skill could get better timing and speed then the OCZ. Dont let them fool you with good stock timing, they only jack up the voltage to get it.

The only thing that bothers me is the height of the gskill ripjaw and say if I were to get the CM v8. Would it all fit in my Antec 300?

Price reduced on the OCZ so im gonna wait a couple days and see if the price goes down on any Gskill.
