With that integrated graphics solution? No chance mate. You'll want something like an nVidia 7600GT or above for at least playable games. Also, who is that produced by and what is the price being asked? Also, 1Gb and Vista Home Premium will mean you won't even be able to play Counter-Strike: Source (2004) on any setting. The integrated card is slow enough but the (lack of) memory will hammer the PC, my laptop only just plays it, but it looks terrible compared to my desktop which had the rather good ATi X1950 Pro in it.

Integrated graphics will get you one step, then fail. Memory is low... and so is HDD cache.

Overall, a horrible computer. Consider custom as the best way.

Here come the pre-built Nazi's!

What kind of gaming do you do? What's the price? Are you willing to spend more? Who makes it?

Give us some more info so that we can better judge you circumstances. We don't know if you like flash games, and typing reports. If so, then yes, as long as the price is reasonable then it could be the computer for you. But if you plan on running some more intense games, then you would need to upgrade it already.

Wow, that's the most ignorant thing I have seen on this forum. Who gives a crap if it is a pre-built PC? It's not for you.... it's for someone else. I know that you wouldn't even let a pre-built check your email...

Now that is good advice! :D

How ignorant are YOU? Seeing as you'd pay $300 for a DELL insigna... Getting the best deal is how you spend money the RIGHT way. Not being lazy and just ordering the first PC you see. I'd like you to buy a Dell like that.

Seeing as you have a custom, I'd though you'd understand. I guess I thought wrong of you. Prebuilt lover. Go buy a system like that and enjoy it.

Ignoring Quentin's posts, I'd like to add that the GFX is horrible. Seeing that the new 9800's are coming out around December, 8800GT prices will drop and you could upgrade to it, but usually that means a better PSU... And, memory is extremely low. What I'd suggest:

Well at least you're giving advice now!

Wow, I slipped and fell into 8th grade!

Whatever that meant...

Just a comment on myself... Not directed at you.

I'd consider that advice, no matter how crude.

Yeah, it's just very hostile! I mean, not everyone in the world knows how, or even wants to know how to build their own computer. Sometimes people just want to go out and buy a computer that has already been tested, and not have to deal with some of the problems that tend to come along with building your own.

I apologize for the snide remarks but I just get pissy when people basically post a "no, that's dumb" comment. I know your comment had more content than that but you get where I'm coming from right?

Lol, now we wait for the thread starter to come back and look at the

and give us more info!

Yeah I getcha :) But mostly, I just want him/her to get one thing. No prebuilts. Yes, their good and no assemble required... But their big time rips. :)

Love that emotion! :D
