frost02 New Member May 16, 2007 #3 actually my current temp *not idle* is 38 - 45, thats while im running guildwars, itunes, and prime95 stress test. is that acceptable?

frost02 New Member May 16, 2007 #5 i'll be switching my cpu fan, its running 2400 rpm right now, i heard the zalman can go about 5000 tho, double the speed of the fan and heard usually lowers down the temp about 10 degrees celsius. right now im running 35c so im doing good i assume.

You have to have thermal sensors on your motherboard, the newer ones come with them. Then you need something like speedfan to read the temps. I'd of thought you'd of known that, being a computer wizz
