Good desktop?

The MX 37 is lagging because of the video card, the MX 46 however would be great. But if he only games a bit then go for the MX 37... altough, i've never heard of that company, so you may want to do a bit of research.
 
MX46 looks awesome, the MX 37 is lacking in the gpu department, really u should just build him one with like a 6600GT.
 
it would be cheaper to build it yourself if you can. put your budget in a new thread and waht you intend to use the copmuter for and people will always tell you what would be best to buy.
 
What you could do is buy the MX 37 and then upgrade the Graphics Card. I would say no more than $260 for a 6800, which totals at $1150 :D
 
i agree with rambo, since everything in that system looks good except the video card, tell him that he can buy the mx 37 and then spend an extra $230 on a 6800GT, then that will be a very nice gaming system.
 
Thanks guys, I think ill hes doing the 37 with Video card swap. He doesnt mind paying a little extra to have them build it, He has no interest in building himself, not enough time I guess.

those cases look a little weird though.........and i never heard of that company......speaking of that maybe i should start a computer building company....i mean, if i had some cash i could buy some stuff in bulk like cases and psu's and save some money, and then i could sell for like $100 over cost....
 
1. I'll not reiterate my point about the ever so subtle advertising
2. There's no reason to get a shuttlebox considering you're either paying more for the miniturization or getting crappier parts (which conveniently aren't specified) or both.
