good enough for Half Life 2?

hi, i am new here. I want to ask that do u guys think my pc can handle half life2? yes i have read the min req for it, but i have not played any online game for years. so i want to make sure my pc would run the game "smooth" before i throw out $40 cuz i had choppy gaming experience with my old computer b4.. here is my pc's spec:

Via P4mam-V mobo + 8235 Chipset
Pc2100 DDr sdram 1.2GB 266mhz
Ati Radeon 9600XT 256mb ( my mobo only supports 4x AGP)
Intel P4 Northwood 3.06ghz 533mhz FSB
windows xp home edition

i have beening using this pc for two yrs, and i upgraded some parts b4, i know it is not a good setup for gaming, but no extra $ to build a new one..

sure you should be able to run it fairly well actualy and it's a great game .

Also check that you arent eligble for a free copy of HL2 courtesy of ATi
