Change CPU to
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 CPU, 2.66 GHz, FSB 1333MHz, 6MB L2 Cache, Socket LGA775

Grand total is $1357.00 AUD

It might be pretty expensive if you guys think but i've seen from another site, the same type of hardware for about $1700+ aud

What do you guys think?

I don't know why it says "P 4 Core 2 Dual" because there's no such
thing as a Pentium Core 2 cpu.

Anyway, not a horrible price.

Yes i have thought of building my own
But unfortunately, i have no experience of doing that
I heard its pretty easy but i also heard from my friend it would take at least 2 weeks to get stocks if i do decide to build it myself.

Well i think this might be good enough =]

you should also get an aftermarket heatsink since intels are pretty garbage and with that processor you can probably overclock to 3.2 easily. you might be able to add one pretty cheap since you're buying a whole system

i think i'll eb sticking to the e8500 processor since i heard its better for gaming than the quad.

and for the graphics card, i also heard that the one over there is just an upgrade of an older one lol

so i'm gona get ATI HD4890 or if i cant afford that one then maybe HD4870

You could go well beyond 3.2Ghz
Mine stock is 2.66Ghz and I can get it to 3.6Ghz on stock heatsink. I dont leave it at that speed though, if I was going to I would buy a new heatsink.

I'm getting the PSU upgraded lol still negotiating =]

I'm still figuring out what to upgrade lol

If you are running single video card, a quality 500W usually be enough.
Save money from 850W, and invest it to get better graphic card. ATI4850/ GTS 250

And if you plan to crossfire, get an ATI video card instead.

Actually i'm getting HD 4890 Video card instead of the 9600GT so i'm pretty sure the 850PSU will be okay with it

Someone suggested gtx275 lol
