That system is plenty for those games, but If you could build one, you could get a nice system also for around that same price+tax...but yeah, it should do just fine. :)
 
Oh I would hate to say yes to your question. I cannot stand most pre built desktop computers because of the garbage power supplies they put in them. Poor quality power supplies cause so many problems. You do not know anyone that can assemble a computer for you? If you pick custom parts it will be so much better with a three year warranty on the parts.

Lol. You could build a fairly kickass budget gaming rig for $500 if you only need the tower. If you need to buy an OS too, that would still leave you with enough for a decent one, even counting keyboard and mouse. This would be basing everything off new parts from say newegg, not even shopping for deals at miscellaneous sites like ebay or craigslist.

The advantage to that system is obviously that it is pre-made, all ready for you. One of the disadvantages is that the parts are likely of questionable quality, and you could get considerably better by building your own. That said, the system should have no problems playing those 2 games.

Well it can be done definitely, hell you honestly can probably build a computer to play those games for around 300.00 but since these guys decided they would flame it I shall prove you can do so. Unless of course you need an operating system, which you probably do just let me know and ill come up with a new build.

So there you go it can be done I don't see anything wrong with that build, plus that PC at Walmart makes no sense it advertises a dual core and a triple core so who knows what your going to get. The motherboard is most likely budget, same with the power supply and all the rest of the components. Plus a true gamer its always nice to say you know I built my own computer. And literally if you can use a screwdriver and are not afraid to get a few cuts your going to be fine.
