good fans

in particular, cpu fans. im gonna be building my first computer and was wondering if theres a really good fan company i could buy from and if theres any companies i definately shouldnt buy from.

edit: my bad i realize i shouldve put this in the cases and cooling section.
 
Big fans move more air per revolution, therefore can run slower, reducing noise. Not exactly what you asked, but worth a thought. Doug.
 
For CPU fans, some good brands are:

Zalman, Xigmatek, Thermaltake, and Arctic Cooling. As stated above, go for the 120mm fans. They require lower revs and thus reduce noise.
