This is going to be built for gaming of course, so just keep that in mind. Any comments I will accept because this is going to be a huge buy for me.

MSI GeForce 7800 GTX w/ 256MB memory

Intel P4 670 Prescott 800Hmz FSB 2MB L2 cache Socket T(LGA 775)

All the other things such as CD-ROM and DVD is already here

-there ya go, comments welcome please!

Looks like a very good Machine. Got prices for them?
Also, are you sure you dont want to go AMD.

intel for gaming?!?! y not go with an amd
everything else looks good.

btw wat about your sig setup?? are you going to be building 2 comps?

Haha yes Intel... because my dad is paying for most of this setup he wants me to go Intel becuase he owned a hardware business and he hates AMD... but will this Intel suite me for gaming? Like it won't lag, it just won't be as fast as the AMD's right? And as for the signiture I completely forgot! thank you! lol

it just won't be as fast as the AMD's right?
im pretty sure it will but i would try my hardest to convince him that AMD is better at gaming. find some benchmarks or articles about y AMD is better at games. better yet let him read CPU 101 ;)
And as for the signiture I completely forgot! thank you! lol
lol
wat made you change your mind? the old setup too much mula?
must have been hard to find the 7800gtx 512mb in stock too lol

haha ya those 512's are hard to find... but I had to change everything because of the CPU switch. I have told him about it and he knows they are better but he tells me that the Intel's are a lot more "reliable"... apparently he had problems with AMD CPU's back then

There was a time when AMD chips was something to avoid. :)

Luckily they have come along way since then. Anyway that system is seriously fast and will last you along time, one thing you should consider however is getting 2GB RAM instead of 1.

Haha thanks you. After I am done paying for most of it I'm going to upgrade to 2 gigs of ram and add and extra GTX in there for the best gamin I've ever had :D

i think the processor would give up on games before a 7800GTX would, condiser upping the processor sooner then a second video card

A 3.8 Ghz?? Really? I could OC this thing to up to 4 Ghz!

Heh don't you worry it will last.

(When gaming they usually perform slightly below the A64 3800 2.4Ghz)

Btw have you read up on that nForce4 mobo? How it stacks up against the other brands? It shouldn't differ to any noticeable degree but...

I went with this 955 because I got such a sweet deal. :D

Do you suggest a better one? One that is around the $200 range? And I'm not like a genius so a noob-proof one will help. I'm getting my dad to help me but my dad might be a little rusty.. if you know what I mean :(.. help me out here! just another noob computer guy who wants a good computer :D
