Good Graphics Card?

Got a $150 gift card for Wal-Mart and wanted to upgrade my graphics card but wanted to know if this was decent or not: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5700435

Right now I have a Geforce 7600 GS graphics card, will this one be way better or not?

Nope, the 7600GS you have is a better card. As far as I know the 1550 is just a relabled 1300.

correction, the one i have is a 7300 GS, dont know if that makes a big difference or not...

for 150 you can grab an 8600GT, which is DX10 capable, you shouldnt be buying a DX9 card at this point as it will be outdated soon. if you were to save up a few extra dollars and get an 8600 GTS youd be in good shape

on a side note, dont buy from walmart, they are a sinister corporation and one day them and microsoft will own the planet. sell your gift card and use the money to buy from newegg

He has a GIFT card not real money, that's why he was asking, but yea just buy something else cuz walmart has a really limited collection of video cards

ATi's X1K series is really bad, Nvidia's 7 series rips it. Yeah you should sell the gift card and use the money.

Spend $150 on groceries, go get an 8600GTS from newegg. Walmart is good in food, but horrible in electronics. I mean, cmon, $75 for an Linksys Wireless router?
