good idea or waste of money?

OK so i want to build a new computer for downloading Fanless PSU,sclient fans(around 700rpm) or even water cooling(but a bit expensive), fanless graphics card, so you get the point practly sclient. so i can leave it on to download while i sleep.

cause at the moment i'm using this pc(one in rig). I use it to download, when i go to sleep i just turn down the fans. but the thing is i want to overclock my cpu more than 3.2ghz ... which means more heat which means i cant turn down my fan speed at night time ..
 
just go on craigslist and get a free computer that you can just stick a huge hardrive in and download with ancient museum like hardware... :)
 
i've got a 12x12 room with a 80 degrees celcius p4 on 24 hours a day

you get used to it.

you can always turn your fsb down while you sleep
 
I guess it could be a good idea to get another cheap as S*** computer that has those old parts that don't cost nada. And just wire it lan to your gaming rig.
 
Just get a ASUS WL-700gE router. Then you can BT D/L with that and turn off your computer. But a little bit expensive.
Or you can work as these video :D
 
if you just want a pc for downloading and not for anything else, you could just setup an old 100mhz p1 computer with windows 2000. then get an sata or ide controller card so you can use large capacity hard drives.

don't know if it would work with all bittorrent clients though.
ftp would be doable.
