Having only been a web-developer for so long and only being 21 wrapped up in the world of web coding, I really don't know near as much as I would like to about hardware. What these 'specs' mean. What each unit of hardware does.
This probably sounds like a no brainer, but I hate running through some posts and being like, "Huhhhh? Whuuuuuttttt?" Also, in my steps to build my own computer, one of the biggest steps is to understand what I'm doing while I'm installing each piece and understand what this part is going to do to help my computer.
My question is, is there any really good place to go and read about hardware. I first want to read up on like a general knowledge kind of thing, and then maybe get into different brands and why some are better than others.
