Good laptop for under $300?

Can anyone recommend me a GOOD laptop for under $300 for business-use?

I am looking for a dual-core or quad-core processor with preferably at least 2GB of RAM?

OS doesn't matter...may want to switch to Linux anyway.

theres no way you can get for 300......i would say at least around $600. heres one that i would recommend for business use.

Well for that price you will be forced to go used, and still finding a decent machine will be difficult. Personally, I try to stray away from used hardware, especially laptops. There's so much that can fail with them, not to mention the harddrives tend to fail much sooner than say standard desktops...

Pentium 3 and is above $200; what do you think?
I wish the Pentium 3 had a better L2 cache, the speed (in ghz) is fine for me..
