Good laptop? HP DV6-1149wm

I found someone who is asking $300 for their month-old HP Dv6-1149wm.
[this one here: http://www.walmart.com/ip/HP-dv6-1149wm/16662285 ], seller paid the full $678

Less than a week ago, I bought a Dell Studio 1555 [1920x1080 15.6" hd screen], P8600 Core2 Duo, 8GB ram, 7200RPM 500GB hdd. I really like almost everything about it, the screen, lots of ram, and stuff, but I really wish I had a better CPU. My CPU's benchmark score [passmark.com] is about 1600.

This other HP laptop being offered for $300 has a quad-core AMD a6-3400m CPU, 4GB ram, 640GB disk, 1336x768 screen [ :(:(:(:( ]. Its CPU benchmark is 3500! So, what do you think? Did I get a good deal for my Dell Studio? And should I buy this HP for $300? I told him I'd be there today for 225, but he said that is too low, so I said how about 250, and he is still thinking.. but if he doesn't accept, should I buy it for the full 300? I could not find too much info about this laptop, it's not on amazon, and I can't find any reviews or anything.

Thanks in advance! :D

It does have the new A-series CPUs that have great graphics intergrated in it, but HP computers are generally known around this forum to be bad products. Also, someone selling it for half the price sounds like something is wrong with it.

Well, it's not unrealistic to sell something for cheap when you're in a bind for cash.. not saying there's not something wrong with it, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was in great condition.

So, anyway, anyone else have any opinions?

FWIW, the reason you probably can't find it on Amazon, or any reviews of it, is because it is a model made by HP specifically for sale at Walmart. Hence the "wm" in the model number.:D

I'm not a fan of HP, but if it is a month old and in like new condition, I'd probably grab it.

@1shado1, yeah, I kinda figured it was a walmart-specific model.

I actually bought it yesterday evening for $255, and it is pretty good; The 2 things I don't like is the keyboard, and the lack of a hd-screen [I guess I'm spoiled ;) ]. The keyboard has a number pad on the right, and it's just kind of different than I'm used to. Also the keyboard seems a little cheap. But, I think it was a good deal. 8)

Sorry if I was stating the obvious.:D

For $255, you can't go wrong!
