I understand that some LCD's "bleed" blacks, or dark colors, I'm looking for a 22' LCD widescreen monitor, but I dont want to have a problem if watching a dark scene on a DVD, or playing a game that is darker than normal? which monitor should I be looking for? or are they all the same

also what is the difference between me hooking up the LCD via VGA or DVI-d?

thanks!

DVI is generally much better than VGA!

DELL make fantastic monitors. A 22" Widescreen isn't that much from OcUK / Newegg.

I'm not really sure what "bleeding" is but if you don't want problems with dark scenes in DVDs you would want an LCD with a higher contrast ratio. Personally, I have never noticed the difference between VGA and DVI, but everyone says DVI is better.

VGA is an analog signal and DVI is a digital signal. You won't notice a drastic improvement when changing from VGA to DVI, but when I did make the switch, I found that Madden did look crisper when playing it.
