good live chat software?

Hi,
I have been using LivePerson, but I have found in not very effective and costly.
I have been looking at ChatStat which is cheaper and seems better.
Does anyone have any experience with ChatStat (www.chatstat.com)?

If your talking about video and audio use http://www.skype.com/intl/en-us/home for chat. Its free. Worked well with family and friends. Mobil phone says something about 2.3 cents a minute. I just use webcam with laptop and works well.

Some of the various instant messenger programs are half-decent as well, though Skype beats them all.

I am so anti-skype it's ridiculous, however after searching for quite some time, the only alternative worth bothering with is ooVoo and even that is pretty lame. Skype is the best out there with the only challenger being AIM and iChat setup for Windows to Mac and vice versa.
