Good m/b setup

What's a good m/b and cpu setup? I was looking at an AMD x2 3800. Pretty much all I do is play BF2 and similar games. Looking to possibly overclock a little just to play around. What's a good setup for about $400 for both? BTW, It doesn't have to be dual core. Also, I am going to get a 7800GT at the same time

hadnt decided on vid card just yet. I still hadn't decided if I want x2 yet (still learning what I should get). Hard to stay under $700 for mb/cpu, vid card and hs fan.

I like the CPU, mobo and Video Card. I've never used that particular HSF before, but I have used others from the Thermaltake SilentBoost series, and haven't been terribly impressed with them. They're better than stock cooling, but not sufficiently better to warrant spending the extra money on them, IMO. Of couse, they could very well have significantly improved the design since I last bought one (a little over a year now). If you're looking to overclock, i'd go with something a little more solid. If not, the stock HSF should be sufficient.

I'm going by the reviews that seem to be pretty good. I can never trust stock HS/Fan for any OCing. I'm not nessasarily going to OC it, but I would like the ability to. Also, I have a budget of $700 and already went over that by $15 after shipping.
