Maybe Runescape? not quite as good as WoW, but very similar, and if youre willing to spend about £20 get Guild Wars, that is also a fairly good game.

You might want to try here http://www.onrpg.com/. Your not going to find a free MMORPG that has the same impact as WOW (personal opinion).

The only way you are going to get to play wow for free is to joina private server, but we can not discuess things like that on the forums

Private servers suck...and are laggy with 60 people that play on em..they suck hahaha.and you can download the client lol

Gunbound and , um guildwars not free but its badass and doesnt cost a monthly fee.
