Good Mobo For C2D E6600??

I need a good motherboard for an OC of an E6600. Maybe 2.8-3.2Ghz would be sufficient to accelerate my planned 2gb of memory and 8800GTS. Need Opinions PLZ?

I have never really studied Gigabyte boards that close. Are they dependable and not fussy? But thanx for the suggestion, I am checking it out.
 
I don't wanna have to buy a sound card, ooh, I hate configuring all of those programs that eat up your RAM and CPU speed.
 
Is the DS3 Simple??

How Simple is the DS3, I hope it is not like some other boards. When you look into the CPU options you look like this :eek:. That is way too much for me. I am a beginner and want to learn how to OC. As you see my first build(below) wasn't very complex. I am thinking about RAID 0 and an OC'ed E6600 with an 88:D:D GTS.

I'd probably go for the DS3 as well.

As with any good overclocking motherboard, there are quite a few options, but you don't need to use all of them. When you first go into the BIOS you will need to press Ctrl+F1 to access the overclocking options.

Overclocking with a Core 2 Duo is really quite easy. You can get a substantial overclock just by increasing the FSB and lowering the RAM divider to keep the RAM from becoming a limiting factor. If you want to push it further, you will need to increase the VCore. It's all discussed in the OC101 guide.
 
Vcore is the amount of voltage that the processor gets. The more voltage, the more stable the processor is at high speeds. It is useful when you overclock. However, too much voltage will fry your processor.
