Good Mobo

You saw problems with that board? Or you've had problems with Abit yourself...

I use to use them but after having to RMA 3 out of 10 for some problem I just quite using them in builds, to much trouble, All of my builds I use either Gigabyte-DFI or Asus

Interesting, I've never had any problems with Abit, and I've had 3 of there boards.

In general, that Gigabyte series - the S3, DS3, and DQ6 - has been the golden boy of the P965 world, along with the Asus boards. The S3 can do serious overclocking for cheap, and has decent features at a great price. However, I would pitch in the couple extra bucks to get the DS3. For a mainstream, high-performance board on a budget, it really does hit an attractive cost/performance ratio point.

That said, I would LOVE to give the Abit boards a try. In fact, I probably will. With the [relative] maturation of the platform, it could do no worse then acceptable, and has a good features list and, more importantly to me - an AWESOME layout. I remember thinking "man...I would love to stick that thing in my case. I'd actually bother with cable management!".
