good monitor?

For gaming I would personally try and get a response time of 8ms at the MOST, preferabbly lower. I also notice that their dead pixel policy is up to 8 dead pixels before you can return/exchange... Is that for all newegg LCDs? just seems high to me.
 
can you really notice the difference from 12ms and 8ms!? you wouldnt think your eye would be able to notice it? atm i use a Emachines crt monitor i need an upgrade lol.
