Good old days...

I don't remember having to wait hours for them to draw but I remember the first fractal I generated was done entirely with random numbers. Web drawing is pretty cool but it uses java (eww)

My 10th grade geometry teacher spent at least half the year rambling on about fractals.... everything on the internet was going to be stored as a fractal equation... chaos and fractals... z^2+c.... (z^3) - (z^2) + c.... In the beginning I thought it was really neat, not only were the pictures the equations created amazing but the hypothesized implementations were also fascinating. ...but, just as my 4th grade teacher only taught long division during math time, covering one subject too much has caused some battles with anxiety and nausea when ever the two subjects are brought up....

so, I am freaking out and feel queasy.... thanks Lorand!

Dont know if any of you have really noticed, but this was posted on October 26, 2004, lol.

But i do remember making things like that in 1st or 2nd grade... those were the best computers :P

By posting you bumped the thread.. thats the only reason everyone replied....
Why does it matter when the thread was created? ..and does it even matter if we had no idea it was a year old thread?
