Good or bad buy?

Well, a couple of things...

Depending on what price you get it for, it is a pretty decent rig. Only thing that might need to be upgraded is the GPU if you plan on doing some heavy gaming. It's tough to say what you're getting into when buying somebody else's prebuilt rig though. You probably won't have any warranty (depending on when they put it together) and you just never know if the builder did everything right or what potential problems it might have when you get it.

On another note, that mobo has a 1366 socket, all Sandy Bridge cpu's utilize the new 1155 socket. Therefore, you would have to replace the mobo as well if you plan on upgrading to any Sandy Bridge CPU.

I would personally never buy anybody's custom PC that they built unless I knew the person who built it, cause you just never know...

depending on your how much you can get it for, but its not what you would call a huge spec, according to the description the motherboard is only sata 2 (3gbps) which is old hat now were up to sata 3 (6gbps), it only has 2gb ram which isnt alot and it is ocz ddr3 which was that bad they dont make it anymore ocz quit memory production and went back to ssds, the rest of the pc looks ok except the wireless card is a g bandwidth which again is old hat should be n bandwidth

Itsa nice rig,But i think you would be better off building your own.

Would you be up to building your own?...we can help you.

There is a great guide for building your own PC with pictures at the top of the Desktop Computers page. If you feel intimidated at all, read through that thread, it's really not as difficult as it seems!
