Hey guys, I need your opinions.

I have a laptop which has core 2 duo 2.0 ghz, 8700 gfx, and windows vista. However I only have 1 gig of ram ddr2 SO-DIMM at 667Mhz.
HUGE mistake, so I need to upgrade my ram to 4g or at least 3g of ram because my comps starting to get slower.

Its an alienware, so not sure if that's required. Anyways, if you guys know any great ram card for my laptop, please let me know.

Thank you

As you have said your computer starts very slow and its you want to increase the RAM
Firstly Go the Run > msconfig > startup > uncheck the startup items which you don't want to keep in t he startup . Restart the computer , hope fully this will solve your issue , if not
Then you go ahead to increase the Ram as you had written .

Hello mkjaekmi,

I came across this post through Boardreader.com. I'm with Alienware's Forum Support team. To ensure that you receive proper working RAM, please contact our Technical Support team to find out which brands and specifications are validated for your system. This will also keep your warranty from being void.

Thank you!

Hello James, I remember you from NBR, it's nice to see a fellow Alienware owner, and I hope you stick around :D

I would recommend anything Gskill, Corsair, Kingston, or companies like that.
