Good Replacement

if i had a eMachines Motherboard VC37/1.3 478P. what would be a good but cheap replacement? and what would be the best but cheapest kind of processor to go with it?

this is for my parents computer. anything good will do. they dont do anything that requires "ALOT". my dad uses quicken alot but besides that, they do the basic stuff. the processor that was with it was an Intel Celeron Processor 2.2GHz....help me please so i can get my parents off my back

I dunno if its possible to get a mobile celeron but if you can, they offer a crapload more performance than the desktop celeron. Other than that, it's a quick and cheap setup

Thats not a micro atx board is it...a lot of the emachines are.
