sound card you mean cohenand yes that is really pretty decent for a mobo
What do you think?1. - Is it an onboard graphics card???
Depends. Are we talking about onboard audio? Is the computer you're talking about prebuilt (i.e. is it a brand-name desktop e.g. Dell, HP, Compaq, Gateway,...)? For general usage like music listening & such and even home theatre it should be good enough, but for hardcore gaming or professional Audio Editing it won't cut it.This new computer i will be getting says it will have an 8-Channel (7.1) High Definition Audio. Is that any good?
What do you think?Cohen, Cohen...

"Some Recording" and "Professional Audio Editing" are two entirely different things. If you're doing YouTube blogs, amateur composing, or anything you do not get paid for it should be good enough. If, however, your job depends on it, no, it will *not* cut it.i was thinking of doing some recording on it. Will it not cut?
