Hi I'm in the process of building a gaming PC and I've come to a halt with what SSD and HDD to get? I was going to get a 1TB but it doesn't have a fast RPM speed. I don't know anything about an SSD if anyone has any knowledge of an SSD I'd like to know so i can get this show on the road haha.

All SSDs are very quick compared to hard drives, but the Vertex 2 drives are arguably the best for price/performance
The Samsung F3 drives are again some of the best out so far as performance goes, but they are also some of the cheapest

Aastii nailed it right on the head there,I have that SSD and its out of this world.
Theres also the 80Gb Intel SSD to consider but its like £75-80 more than the 60Gb Vertex ,Imo not worth it.
I have the OS + about 7-8 small apps installed on my SSD and still have 38Gb free....the rest of my stuff like games are installed on a 250G normal hard drive.
