What is the resolution you want to play games at?

It's not top of the line, but it'll do well. I have a single 7600GT and it works very well. However, I don't play too many games. Heck, I've been playing 2D games recently!

maybe instead of 2 7600 GTs, go with a 7900GS or 7950

Yes, don't get 2 7600GTs. If you have the money, go with a 7900GS like joe recommended.
