Good Video Card for close to $150

Yes! Great card for the price. I have the same card, just from Sapphire. You will NOT be disappointed. Max settings on Halo, Halo 2, BF2, COD4. Love it :)

And the best thing is, I have a hec Orion 585W too :) And it's powering it right this moment while I'm typing :P

Are you running a PCI-E 2.0 model board? If not you would have to start looking at 1.1 models like the HD 2600XT or even HD 2900s since those are starting to come down in price. Besides that one you could go with the 512mb Diamond model seen for a little more at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814103051

Pricewise newegg is a little low on inventory for the newer cards out. The 3870s run a bit higher if you browse around.

Well, I can't use the PCIE 2.0, for my motherboard doesn't support it, so I found these. Any of them any good?

By the way PC eye thank you for bringing up the whole 2.0 thing :D .

PCIe 2.0 cards are backward compatible

I,ve installed quite a few on them and never had a problem. There was a few cheap boards with PCIe 1.0 that had a problem but I think even thoses have had a bios update to correct it. But for that price a 3850 or 8800GS would be good cards

From the dogs mouth
http://www.pcisig.com/news_room/faqs/pcie2.0_faq/

Q5: Then PCIe 2.0 must be backward compatible with PCIe 1.1 and 1.0?
A5: Yes. The PCIe Base 2.0 specification supports both the 2.5GT/s and 5GT/s signaling technologies. A device designed to the PCIe Base 2.0 specification may support 2.5GT/s, 5GT/s or both. However, a device designed to operate specifically at 5GT/s must also support 2.5GT/s signaling. The PCIe Base specification covers chip-to-chip topologies on the system board. For I/O extensibility across PCIe connectors, the Card Electromechanical (CEM) and ExpressModule™ specifications will also need to be updated, but this work will not impact mechanical compatibility of the slots, cards or modules. Currently, the PCI-SIG is defining the PCIe CEM 2.0 specification which has been released to members for review at v0.5. There are currently no plans to adapt the PCIe Mini CEM specification for the faster bit rate as the market need has not yet materialized.

Thanks Strangle for clearing that up :)
Now I'm kinda torn between these.

XFX PVT88SFDD4 GeForce 8800GS 384MB 192-bit GDDR3 OC $169.99 Worth the OC and extra $10?

XFX PVT88SFDF4 GeForce 8800GS 384MB 192-bit GDDR3 $159.99 I'm liking the price on this one.

All in all what do you think is the best bang for my buck?

Wait yeah, HD3000 series are backwards compatible with PCIe 1.1. I have an old motherboard from a comp I bought back in mid-2006 and Im running a HD3870 no problem...

And about the cards you chose, I would get the HD3850 simply because we have Oscar's positive review on it and the 8800GS just came out. So in other words, if you want to get the 8800GS (which seems pretty good) you might want to wait till some benchies come out or something. Just my thought on it. ;)

Well, I will go with the

XFX PVT88SFDD4 GeForce 8800GS 384MB 192-bit GDDR3 $169

Unless you think that an overclocked DIAMOND 3850PE3256SB Radeon HD 3850 RV650 55nm 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 $169.99 can beat it.

Yes there backward compatible. I,ve installed quite a few. Like said above there was a few 1.0 boards that had a problem but as far as I know they even have a bios update for it. Think it was Asrock or PCchip boards
