Good Video Card for close to $150

Well, I will go with the

XFX PVT88SFDD4 GeForce 8800GS 384MB 192-bit GDDR3 $169

Unless you think that an overclocked DIAMOND 3850PE3256SB Radeon HD 3850 RV650 55nm 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 $169.99 can beat it.

Never tried it on that one. You would have to know someone with the card to know how well it overclocks, but then again the Nvidia would probable overclock pretty well too.

Well the 8800gs seems to out perform the HD 3850.
Except with 1600X1200 with AA, but I don't plan to game in 1600x1200, so it seems to say that the 8800gs is the better choice.

Oh, and thank you all for you quick responses and your help. This is my #1 place for PC help :D

Well, I can't use the PCIE 2.0, for my motherboard doesn't support it, so I found these. Any of them any good?

By the way PC eye thank you for bringing up the whole 2.0 thing :D .

Your welcome! I'm presently running the same MSI model seen at the link here but didn't see the Witcher game included last August when ordering it! :P

So far it's been a great mid range model now seeing the DVI capable lcd to go with it. It does come with a DVI to vga adapter like many cards for use with older monitors so that wouldn't be a problem.
