The relative decided to get a new computer. I couldn't get him to give me the old PC, so it will sit gathering dust until hell freezes over in a closet or attic.
But, this time when we went to find a computer, he had cash from the federal gov't burning a hole in his wallet, so he got a pretty decent rig from Office Depot.
Intel i7 10700F (Comet Lake 65 watts)
16 GB ram
512GB M.2 nvme SSD drive -I'll install a spare 2T or 3T drive later. Not sure what's in my pile of old hard drives offhand.
Nvidia Geforce 1660 super. -Nice, considering how hard it is to get a graphic card right now.
He splurged on a 32" Acer 2550x1440 monitor, and gave me the old, smaller monitor. (23" 1920x1080)
I'll get around to installing the sound card in a few days, when I install a spare hard drive or two in the new computer.
