Google AdSense and favicons

OK, I have a web site and I'm thinking about using Google AdSense.
I would like to know how profitable it realy is, and how big your web site has to be to make it profitable.

Also if anyone knows a good way to make favicons that actually look good the would be a big help too.

Google Adsense really depends on if your visitors are interested. If you get few visitors, try getting one that goes by pageviews more than clicks.

For favicons, make a 32x32 px image in photoshop or whatever, then use this: http://www.chami.com/Html-Kit/services/favicon/

It mostly depends on your site traffic. I use it and earn about $0.20 - $0.30 per click. If you have your site all up and sorted, go ahead and add Google Adsence.

your website need to get at least 1000 hits per day to get a good income. More than that would be better. I suggest you to try high-paying keyword such as car insurance to get more money from a click (1.xx dollar a click). My suggestion, focus on traffic building first and then intergrate adsense into your site.
