Hello all,

I have 2 websites. I recently signed up to google adsense and others. When signing up i used one of my websites as my url. When i generated the ads i put it in my other website! A friend of mine told me it is alright and he assured me 100%!! (can anyone confirm).

The problem is i got someone to click it for me to test it (only once!). Checked reports and nothing! why??? they told me they may have something wrong with their internet...eeeh...i replied okaaay! I asked someone else to do it, again nothing! Why? Can anyone help why it isn't working! Could someone else test this for me only once!!! (more if you want ). :D

And also will it work on puting the ads on another site (see first paragraph)

thanks all.

I clicked on your ad, did it do anything? if not try googling the question

Or asking Google themselves, they are reallly helpful and should answer you back very shortly

Thanks for your reply DrCuddles. Nothing changed in my reports.

But i have submitted a message to google, hope they can help! I just can't think why it won't work!!!

Note: no need for anyone else to click.

It will take ayear for google to reply, honestly, i've tried before, and no i think its against their policy agreement that you accepted when you signed uo put ad's on a different site than what you signed up with.

I should also add that it does take about a day or two for the first clicks to start showing up in your account...

Read the agreement it will tell you in there

Just give it time, nothing is instant as it takes time to check that the click was valid, if nothing isn't showing up after a few days, then consider contacting them.
Although remember that asking for somebody to click is against their term's of service, so considering they can just ban you for good, i wouldn't reccomend it.

edit: I've just looked at your site, may I reccomend you put the ads in a more stand-outish position, such as near the header, or a vertical strip below the navigation, alse hardly anyones going to see them, let alone click them down there.

see here: https://www.google.com/adsense/supp...&ctx=en-uk:search&query=heat+map&topic=&type= for more info

could some one help me please aswell as i can't work out how to get the ads onto my site once they have given me the code. im new to this lol

you need to insert that block of code that google give you into the HTML of your webpage, obviously positioning it wherever you want it to appear within the page...

What application do you use for web authoring?

Your not wrong...am still waiting! Even though its only been 2 days! My site (although under construction) has been up for a while...but no long...so i probably need more patience!

Thanks for the replies guys....just have to wait on Google. If not then...eh..i don't know.

Oh actually. Apart from Google Adsense...are ther any others...does Yahoo!, Aks or the others have anything equvilant to Google?

I actually have now got annoyed with google and have taken their adsense off my site! All it did was just take up space and it didn't bring much revenue :(

Does anyone know if its acceptable to approach other sites that may want to advertise with with my site?

yeh, it is acceptable, they usually won't reply unless they have some kind of affiliate program though...

oh and google is one of, if not THE best at revenue generation, you just need to give it a few weeks for the ad's to become relevant and function properly, its usually a good idea to get the google ads going on the site whilst your making it, so the bots can still crawl whatever little content you have on ti at that momnet

Your right...i've contacted Hobsons(graduate recruitment) and they have allowed me to put an ad on my site!

Although google may generate more revenue i can't believe how professsional Hobsons (the ad) looks on my site! :) The google ads made it look a bit crap an cheap but now it looks good if i say so myself! :P:

I can get more ads i think...but too many ads is bad isn't it? Even if its relevant?
