Google Chrome consumes internet connection?

So I've been testing Google Chrome again for the past 3 days, and I've noticed it's a little quicker than Opera 10 Alpha. A lot of the youtube pages I load load pretty quickly. However, I also noticed that videos don't load as quickly. I remember reading something about Chrome that it loads other pages in the background so that if you click one of the links, the load time is reduced. I'm not sure. So, has anyone else noticed this?

Ya i have also notice this that Chrome consumes a lot of internet connection and its loading speed is also less than the other web browsers like firefox,opera etc..

Agreed. I installed it tried it for a day and got rid of it. I also didn't care that the Google updater ran in the background as well.
