Google Desktop Vs Google Chrome

Hi,

I've always used Google Desktop. Around 12 months ago, Google Chrome wound up on my computer (I can't remember how or why I just remember that I did download it). I thought that it would take over from Desktop but it never did.

Now, I have both of them sitting on my computer. Which one do I need and why?

Regards,
Troy.

Chrome is the best browser around. Mozilla might seem more popular, but me, as a webdesigner, i have way way more problems with mozilla than with chrome. All browser get slow and sluggish after prolonged use, but chrome is by far the best experience. Safari and Opera are good too, but chrome -the uglyest of them all- is the fastest.

robina 80 - I asked a respectful question, there was no call for the tone of that answer. If I'd known Desktop was discontinued I would have stopped using it, indeed, I wouldn't have asked the question. This forum is supposed to be here to help and assist people like myself who may not be as up to date with the computer world with people such as yourself.

ayan - Thankyou for your courtesy. Could you elaborate on what you mean by "ugliest of them all", please? I assume I should delete Desktop?

Regards,
Troy

There is nothing wrong with what Robina_80 said, do you need everything sugarcoated?

Definitely uninstall Desktop.

Ayan - idk why you think Chrome is the ugliest. It's got a much better-looking interface than a lot of the other browsers have, save Opera.
