hi guys, my boss had me install the free version of Google Maps on his computer. After a few days, i checked to see that everything was working fine. he said no, and that he wants to uninstall it because it slows the startup time significantly. we have tried to use the windows "Add-Remove", the Uninstall option with in the Google folder itself, CCleaner, and this morning i tried the "Windows Installer CleanUp Utility", all to no avail.
with every method, the progross bar shows up and then says it has uninstalled. I will go in and delete any remaining "C
rogram Files/Google..." folders, delete desktop short cuts, and even ran the CCleaner registry cleaner/uninstaller. Everything look great until we restart the computer and it after the login screen we see a box saying "applying computer options", then all the sudden the "installing Google Earth" box pops up.
the I.T. Guy and i are both stumped on this one. google search didnt bring up anything yet either.
Any ideas?
