Google Play

Hey, I just wanted to put this up before the expiration. I got an email from Google Play that they are turning 3 years old today. So, in light of that, they're offering anyone (I suppose with a Google account, connected to Google Play) a free "Transformers" movie.

Gosh, I hope this isn't against the forum rules

Edit: I just read over the forum rules thoroughly and saw nothing that would constitute this as spam, illegal, or otherwise. If this is a gray area, I think gray areas should also be added to the forum posting rules as "user-beware".

I didn't pass on that deal :D

I downloaded it. It was really the only Transformers movie that I appreciated the most. If it was any movie that I never liked or hadn't seen, I wouldn't have put it in my library. I'm particular about that king of thing :D

I get google play emails but don't bother checking the email since I don't use it anymore, nor do I use their service... Nothing for me though :(

I got that movie free from Google a few years ago when I bought a Nexus 7 tablet. We already owned the DVD so I've never watched the free one that is still in my Google library.

Sounds very familiar when I bought my one and only tablet that was also a Nexus 7. I think they were the first ones to roll out, maybe second. I think they had 4GB of storage. It could have been 8GB. All I remember is being so ticked off cuz like 2 months later they stopped offering mine and offered double the storage for the same price as mine with the one double the storage of that for the higher price.

But I seem to remember getting a movie too. Maybe it WAS Transformers. I remember getting a free movie and some Google Play credit I think.

They have free movies and albums from time to time, I have around 6 movies that I've received for free over the years.
