When I type something in the search bar on google it will give me a drop down list of websites that start with the first few letters I type. However when I clear cookies it goes away for awhile and for no reason at all it will come back. These are websites I never visited before. Is this a google thing or firefox doing it? I have checked all settings in google and firefox and cant stop this. I dont like those drop down menues.

I do have them turned off...I went to tools> options> privacy> saved forms> and save information I enter in forms and search bar is unchecked. I still get them?

I think they're just suggestions. I get them too.
Thats exactly what they are but it is funny if I run ccleaner they will go away for a day or two and then out of nowhere they come back...anyone know how to make it stop for good?

I always have them ,even after running CCleaner. I just ignore them. I don't use them, nor do they bother me.
